Oooh, I've been tagged by T Cup at Red Lemonade to give my age away by telling you what was No. 1 in Ireland on the day I was born.
Apart from one incident involving me, a rent-boy and a some shackles, a little community service and some questionable fashion choices, Boy George and I have nothing but this in common... it was Culture Club's Karma Chameleon.
I'll tag... Profoundly Superficial, Molly ... aaaaaaaaand Lottie

If I said Sinead O'Connor's "Nothing Compares to You" would you believe me?
Nah. Me neither.
Go away outta' that you!
um... as an immigrant I am not well versed on the stuff that didn't make the leap across the pond, but the internets tell me this was the thing topping the Irish charts when I was born: "Gonna Make You a Star" by David Essex (who the frick is David Essex???!!)!
If I could have chosen, it would be Iggy Pop, Lust for Life ... or Candi Staton, You've Got the Love.
Fucking Culture Club.
What do you mean by 'born'? Spiritually I was born to the dulcet tones of the Velvet Underground's 'Venus in Furs'.
Yeah, spiritually... THAT'S what I meant...!
